ATV driver flown to Louisville after Glasgow crash
The crash happened at the intersection of Humble Avenue and East Main Street in Glasgow.
GLASGOW, Ky. — A Glasgow man was injured Sunday after an ATV pulled into the path of a pickup truck at an intersection in Glasgow.
According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers responded Aug. 30 to an injury crash at the intersection of Humble Avenue and East Main Street.
A preliminary investigation found that Dwayne Welborn of Glasgow was operating a Suzuki ATV when he pulled into the path of a westbound 2008 Dodge truck driven by Hunter Rich.
Welborn was transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital before being flown to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash was investigated by Glasgow Police Officer Jared Herzog, with assistance from Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
