Submit an Event

Barrenside is proud to serve as a hub for community events in Barren County and the surrounding area. We welcome submissions for local events, fundraisers, public meetings, classes, performances, and other happenings that may be of interest to our readers.

How to Submit an Event

Please include the following information when submitting:

• Event name
• Date and time
• Location (venue, address, city)
• Brief description (50–150 words)
• Contact information (name, phone number, and email)
• Website or registration link (if applicable)

Guidelines

• Events should be open to the public or of significant community interest.
• Submissions may be edited for clarity, length, and style.
• Barrenside reserves the right to determine which events are published.
• We recommend submitting events at least two weeks in advance whenever possible.

Publication

Published events appear on our online community calendar. While we strive to include all eligible submissions, space and timing constraints may limit publication.
