FRANKFORT, Ky. — Several Kentucky State Police troopers and detectives serving the Post 3 area were recognized during the agency's annual Sworn Awards Ceremony for their service in 2025.

The ceremony honored 84 troopers, detectives and officers from across the commonwealth who were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Among the local honorees, Detective Bo Hubbard was named Post 3 Detective of the Year. Hubbard has served with the agency for eight years.

Trooper Tyler Walters, a two-year veteran of the agency, was named Post 3 Trooper of the Year.

Detective Trevor Harris, a 23-year veteran, received the 2025 DESI West Detective of the Year award.

Several other Post 3 personnel also received statewide honors. Trooper Jason Warinner, a 14-year veteran, was awarded the Citation for Bravery.

Meritorious Service Awards were presented to Trooper Devon Banaszak, a four-year veteran; Trooper Grant Robertson, a three-year veteran; and Trooper Walker Hogan, a five-year veteran.

Lt. Jason Adkison, a 12-year veteran of the agency, received a Meritorious Service Award with a V-device.

According to Kentucky State Police, the agency responded to more than 532,600 calls for service in 2025, conducted thousands of wellness checks during dangerous weather, investigated crimes against children, secured justice for victims and assisted local law enforcement agencies throughout the state.
