GLASGOW, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear has appointed a Glasgow resident and Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College graduate to the Kentucky Board for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

Brandon Judd, a licensed radiographer and associate director of marketing operations at Philips, was appointed alongside Jen Krimm of Lexington.

Beshear also reappointed Jeffrey Fannin of Morehead and Lucas Rodriguez of Shelbyville. The terms will begin Nov. 1, 2026.

Judd replaces Kelsey Boswell, whose term has expired, and will serve through Oct. 31, 2030.

A 2005 graduate of SKYCTC’s radiography program, Judd also earned post-primary certifications in computed tomography and cardiac-interventional radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

After graduating, Judd worked in computed tomography at the University of Louisville’s Level I trauma center before returning to Glasgow to work in the cardiac catheterization lab at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

His work in the cardiac catheterization lab exposed him to medical equipment industry representatives and helped shape his decision to pursue a career in the industry.

Judd joined Philips as a clinical applications specialist, traveling across the country to train physicians and medical staff on cardiac catheterization X-ray equipment. He has worked for the company for 19 years.

While continuing his career, Judd earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in corporate finance, followed by a Master of Business Administration.

He now serves as associate director of marketing operations for Philips’ intracardiac echocardiography product line, known as ICE.

In addition to his professional career, Judd serves as chairman and chief volunteer officer of the Barren County Family YMCA. He is also a board member for Barren Inc.

Krimm, the other new appointee, is the co-founder of Friends of Garrard County Schools and a former senior adviser to the U.S. Agency for International Development. She replaces Bianca Crockam, who resigned, and will serve through Oct. 31, 2028.

Fannin is a professor of imaging sciences at Morehead State University, while Rodriguez works as a clinical safety educator for Baptist Health Medical Group. Both were reappointed to terms expiring Oct. 31, 2030.
