GLASGOW, Ky. — The Boys and Girls Club of Glasgow-Barren County is seeking community donations to help support local youth participating in its summer camp program.

According to the organization, needed items include bottled water, popsicles, bandages, sunscreen, children’s and teen-sized swimsuits, and beach towels.

Candidates included Fern the Frog, Henrietta the Hedgehog, Garth the Grub, Toro the Turtle and Bart the Bunny.

This year’s summer camp theme is “Passport to the World,” a nod to exploring different cultures, countries and experiences from around the globe.
