Caverna Schools to host community event on dangers of social media
Organizers said the event is designed for parents, grandparents, caregivers, educators and anyone interested in learning how to better support children as they navigate online spaces.
CAVE CITY, Ky. — Parents, caregivers, educators and community members are invited to learn more about the risks children face online during an upcoming event hosted by Caverna Independent Schools.
The Caverna Family Resource & Youth Services Center and Caverna Independent Schools will host “The Dangers of Social Media” on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at the Cave Area Conference Center.
The free program will focus on helping families better understand the potential dangers associated with social media and provide practical tips and strategies for keeping children safe in today’s digital environment.
Retired Detective Michael Lemon will present the program.

A complimentary meal will be provided during the event.
