GLASGOW, Ky. — The Barren County YMCA, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, will host a Relay For Life event on Sept. 12 at Beaver Creek Park in Glasgow.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event.

It brings together cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers and community members to celebrate survivors, remember those lost to cancer and raise money for cancer research, patient services and advocacy.

The event will be held from 4-8 p.m. at Beaver Creek Park, 115 Beaver Trail. Organizers have set a fundraising goal of $7,500.

Those interested in participating can register online or by calling 1-800-227-2345 and selecting option 4. The event is free to attend.
