GLASGOW, Ky. — The Glasgow Police Department plans to honor the life of Wyatt Preston Miller, a 2-year-old who died April 3.

Police responded to a medical emergency at Wyatt’s home before he later died, according to Briana Brooks, the department’s police advocate.

Wyatt’s family chose to donate his organs, a decision that saved three lives, GPD said.

April is recognized as National Donate Life Month, with April 30 observed as Donor Remembrance Day to honor donors and their families.

The department will hold a tree-planting ceremony in Wyatt’s memory on April 29 at 11 a.m. at the Glasgow Police Department.

The community is invited to attend the event in his memory.
