GLASGOW, Ky. — Barren County and Glasgow students will have a chance to kick off the new school year at a community pep rally next week.

The Glasgow-Barren Community Pep Rally is scheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, in downtown Glasgow.

The event is open to all Barren County and Glasgow students.

Activities will include Hawaiian Ice, a mechanical bull, an inflatable obstacle course and giveaways. A live radio interview will also be part of the event.

The pep rally is free to attend.
