FBI adds Indianapolis fugitive with Kentucky ties to Ten Most Wanted list
The FBI increased the reward from $5,000 to up to $1 million for information leading to Henderson’s arrest.
INDIANAPOLIS — The FBI has added an Indianapolis fugitive with ties to Louisville and Lexington to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and is offering up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.
Gregory Henderson Jr., who authorities say is considered armed and dangerous, was added to the list Tuesday. He is wanted in connection with a federal investigation into alleged drug trafficking and dog fighting in Central Indiana.
Henderson is one of 31 people indicted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana in the investigation.
According to the FBI, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Henderson on Aug. 25, 2023, on charges related to drug trafficking and dog fighting conspiracies.
Authorities conducted a large-scale takedown of Henderson’s alleged organization on Aug. 31, 2023, but he evaded arrest and has remained a fugitive since.
The FBI alleges Henderson led a violent, neighborhood-based gang in Indianapolis and operated a drug trafficking network that was supplied by the Sinaloa Cartel.
Authorities say the network distributed methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl in Indianapolis and throughout the Midwest.
Henderson is also accused of being involved in a dog fighting operation that resulted in severe abuse and the deaths of numerous dogs.
The FBI said Henderson has known ties to several cities, including Louisville and Lexington, as well as Chicago, Detroit, Dayton, Cincinnati and St. Louis.
“Someone, somewhere knows where he is and one tip could lead to his arrest,” FBI Indianapolis Special Agent in Charge Timothy J. O’Malley said.
Henderson is described as a Black man, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and about 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he may use the aliases Grego, Whitey and Corree Williams.
