MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. — The Medical Center at Caverna will host the Hart County Community Health Fair on Saturday, May 16, offering free health screenings, educational resources and family activities.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hart County High School Gym.

Officials said the health fair will include informational booths, door prizes from healthcare providers and food trucks. The first 100 attendees will receive a free Med Center Health tote bag.

No preregistration is required, and all screenings and informational services will be offered free of charge.

Health screenings available during the event include balance screenings, blood pressure checks, body fat analysis, depression screenings, glucose checks, grip strength testing, lipid panels, PSA screenings for men over 50 and stroke risk assessments.

The fair will also feature educational information on diabetic and low-sodium diets, hands-only CPR and lung cancer screenings.

Activities for children, including face painting and temporary tattoos, are also planned.
