GLASGOW, Ky. — Book lovers will soon have a chance to stock up on reading material as the Friends of the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library prepare for their upcoming book sale.

Organizers say the sale will feature a wide variety of books, offering something for readers of all ages and interests.

The event will begin with a members-only preview sale on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. The sale will then open to the general public on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Hardback books are priced at $1 each, while children’s and paperback books are 50 cents. DVDs, CDs and audiobooks are also 50 cents each, or four for $1.

A $2 bag sale is scheduled Monday, according to Friends of the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library.

Community members are encouraged to stop by for discounted prices and a chance to discover new reads while supporting the library.
