GLASGOW, Ky. — The City of Glasgow is accepting applications for its Veteran Banner Program, which honors local veterans with commemorative banners displayed throughout the downtown square.

The program allows family members, friends and others to recognize veterans for their military service and sacrifice. Once approved, banners featuring participating veterans will be installed around the Glasgow Public Square.

City officials said space in the program is limited, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all available spots are filled.

Those interested in participating can complete an online application.

The Veteran Banner Program is intended to publicly recognize local veterans and serve as a visible tribute to their contributions to the nation.
