GLASGOW, Ky. — The Joyce Driver Aquatic Center has moved to weekend-only operations for the remainder of the season.

Glasgow Parks & Recreation said the Aquatic Center will be open Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the season. Weekday operations have ended.

The center, located at 805 Happy Valley Road at American Legion Park, opened in May as Glasgow’s first full-scale aquatic center.

American Legion Park is undergoing a multi-phased overhaul, which included demolition of the former city pool and construction of the new Joyce Driver Aquatic Center.

The facility features two large water slides, a family slide, climbing wall, lily pad bridge, zero-depth entry water playground, children’s play area, basketball goals and five lap swim lanes.
