Glasgow Community Band to perform patriotic concert at Plaza Theatre

GLASGOW, Ky. — The Glasgow Community Band will celebrate Independence Day with a free patriotic concert Thursday evening in downtown Glasgow.
The performance, scheduled for 7 p.m. on July 2, will commemorate the nation’s upcoming 250th birthday, which will be observed Saturday.
Band Director Robbie Fudge said the concert has been moved inside the Plaza Theatre because of extreme heat. It was originally scheduled to be held outdoors in downtown Glasgow.
The Glasgow Community Band is made up of local musicians who rehearse regularly and perform concerts throughout the year.
The concert is free and open to the public.
