GLASGOW, Ky. — The Glasgow Fire Department promoted two staff members about two months ago, and they were formally introduced in their new roles during a recent meeting of the city council.

Ryan Gibson has been promoted to assistant chief, while Justin Wells has been promoted to battalion chief.

“I look forward to all of the work we will do together,” said Chief Lucas Tinsley.

The chief also offered brief remarks, noting he was proud of the two men and said he believed they are “on board” with his efforts to continue serving the community.

“It’s not an easy job, but I know these two are up to it,” Tinsley said.
