GLASGOW — A Glasgow mortgage professional says his first book has reached Amazon bestseller status in three homebuying-related categories.

Matthew Stevens announced this week that his book, “The Wise Path of Homeownership: Understanding the Safe Journey Towards Peace and Prosperity with a Home Purchase,” ranked as a bestseller in Amazon’s Real Estate Investing, Buying and Selling a Home, and Mortgages categories.

According to a news release, the book is intended to help prospective homebuyers better understand the mortgage and homebuying process, drawing on Stevens’ experience in the lending industry.

Stevens manages Ross Mortgage’s Glasgow branch and oversees loan officers serving multiple states. He specializes in a variety of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA and construction loans.

The book is available through Amazon in Kindle and other formats.
