Gov. Beshear bringing book tour to Bowling Green in September

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear will visit the Capitol in September for a conversation hosted by the Warren County Public Library as part of his upcoming book tour.

The event, titled “Governor Andy Beshear in Conversation: Go and Do Likewise,” is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. at The Capitol.

The event will focus on Beshear’s forthcoming book, Go and Do Likewise: How We Heal a Broken Country.

According to the library, the book explores Beshear’s personal faith, how it has influenced his family and public service, and his views on the role of compassion and kindness in addressing division.

The library said 500 copies of the book will be available for attendees at the event.

Beshear was elected governor in 2019 after serving as Kentucky’s attorney general from 2015 to 2019. He is a native Kentuckian and lives with his wife, Britainy, and their two children, Will and Lila.
