GLASGOW, Ky. — Hot air balloons, live music and family activities will return to Glasgow Municipal Airport later this month for the annual Groove & Glow event.

Entertain Glasgow will host Groove & Glow on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the airport, located at 390 Airport Road. Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. CDT, and admission is free.

The event will feature a hot air balloon glow around sunset, when the balloons are illuminated against the evening sky.

Families can also take part in free activities, including face painting and inflatables. Food trucks will be available throughout the event.

Tethered hot air balloon rides will also be offered for $15 per person. Tickets for the rides will be sold at the event.

The event is pet-friendly, according to the Kentucky Department of Tourism’s event listing.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the evening at the airport.
