Officers responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and West Main Street.

GLASGOW — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Saturday at a Glasgow intersection, according to the Glasgow Police Department.

Officers responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and West Main Street.

A preliminary investigation determined that a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by a juvenile, was traveling westbound on West Main Street and was attempting to turn left onto Veterans Outer Loop when it collided with a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse traveling eastbound on West Main Street, driven by Erica Dewitt.

Dewitt and a passenger in the Camaro, identified as Mary Guerrero, were both transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The crash was investigated by Officer Zachary Cook.
