Man charged with attempted fetal homicide after Glasgow investigation

GLASGOW, Ky. — A Bowling Green man has been charged with attempted fetal homicide after a woman reported concerns that her prescription medication had been replaced with another substance, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Kentucky State Police Post 3 said troopers were contacted around 7:30 a.m. Monday by a Glasgow woman.

She reported that her boyfriend, 26-year-old Abdulah Mohmand of Bowling Green, had allegedly replaced her prescription medication with an unknown substance.

Police said the woman is pregnant and expressed concern for the safety of her unborn child.

According to KSP, investigators later obtained a search warrant for Mohmand’s residence. During the search, troopers said they located medication matching the unknown medication found at the woman’s residence.

Mohmand was charged with attempted fetal homicide and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
