GLASGOW, Ky. — The City of Glasgow will bring back its “Movies Under the Stars” outdoor film series this summer at Beaver Creek Park, offering three free community movie nights featuring family-friendly blockbusters.

The series begins Friday, May 29, with “Zootopia 2,” followed by “Wicked” on June 26 and “Superman” on July 24. All showings will start at dusk.

Hosted by Glasgow Parks & Recreation, each event will include pre-show activities, along with free admission and complimentary popcorn for attendees.

Parks Director Eddie Furlong said the film rights for the series are covered through sponsor Nemak.

Organizers encourage guests to bring blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray for comfort during the outdoor screenings.

The series is sponsored by Nemak and supported by community partners including the Kiwanis Club, YMCA and Community Partners for Recovery.
