GLASGOW, Ky. — A Murfreesboro, Tennessee, man was injured Sunday after the vehicle he was driving struck a guardrail on the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers responded to a single-vehicle injury accident at mile marker 14 on the Parkway.

A preliminary investigation determined that a 2017 Hyundai operated by Antonio Fitts, of Murfreesboro, was traveling westbound when Fitts lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail.

Michael Branham, a passerby who stopped to render aid, told Barrenside the man appeared disoriented and explained he had a history of seizures.

Fitts was transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS for treatment of his injuries. The extent of his injuries was not released.

The accident was investigated by Glasgow Police Officer Rebecca Parsons.
