GLASGOW, Ky. — Several new veteran names were added last week to the Veterans Wall of Honor, continuing the effort to recognize local men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The Wall of Honor is located in Beula C. Nunn Park near the downtown square and serves as a permanent tribute to veterans from Glasgow and Barren County.

The wall now includes more than 1,700 plaques honoring service members across multiple generations, according to Matt Mutter, chairperson of the Veterans Wall Committee.

The latest additions include the following veterans:

Installations on the wall occur periodically once enough names are collected to complete each section. Mutter said it could take up to two more years to collect enough names for the next installation on the wall.
