TEMPLE HILL, Ky. — The Temple Hill Lions Club has released the schedule for the 2026 Barren County Fair, featuring pageants, motorsports events, livestock shows, wrestling and carnival rides across several weeks this summer.

The fair schedule begins Sunday, June 14, with the fair pageant at Barren County High School. Registration starts at noon, with the pageant beginning at 1 p.m.

Divisions include baby and toddler categories, Tiny Miss and Mister, Little Miss and Mister, pre-teen, teen, Miss, Ms./Mrs. and modern divisions.

Carnival rides and nightly events are scheduled throughout the week of June 23-27. Admission will cost $15 for anyone 36 inches tall and over.

Events include catfish wrangling and a garden tractor pull on June 23, a youth ATV/UTV rodeo and cornhole tournament on June 24, and an open ATV/UTV rodeo with UCW wrestling on June 25.

On Friday, June 26, the Floral Hall will open at the Barren County Extension Office, followed by a KTPA truck and tractor pull that evening. Another pedal pull and KTPA truck and tractor pull are scheduled for Saturday, June 27.

Additional livestock and agricultural events are planned in July.

A 4-H and FFA beef show and open beef show will take place July 9, followed by dairy, hog, sheep, goat and poultry shows July 10-11. A 4-H Floral Hall event is also planned July 16-17 at the extension office.
