Over 130 Barren County students recognized on WKU honors lists

The largest number of honorees came from Glasgow, with 103 students recognized.

GLASGOW, Ky. — More than 130 students from Barren County earned academic honors at Western Kentucky University during the spring 2026 semester.

WKU released its Dean’s and President’s Lists on Tuesday, recognizing undergraduate students who achieved high grade-point averages during the spring semester.

Students who earned a semester GPA between 3.4 and 3.79 were named to the Dean’s List, while students with GPAs between 3.8 and 4.0 were named to the President’s List.

A total of 133 students from Barren County communities were included on the honors lists, according to WKU. The total includes students from Glasgow, Cave City, Park City, Austin, Eighty Eight and Etoile.

The largest number of honorees came from Glasgow, with 103 students recognized.
