Rocky Hill man in critical condition after shooting, police say

KSP said a suspect is being questioned and is not considered a threat to the community.

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. — A Rocky Hill man was flown to a Tennessee hospital Saturday evening after being shot in Warren County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers responded shortly after 6 p.m. to the 1300 block of Rocky Hill Road after receiving a report of a shooting.

KSP said troopers found James Kevin Marr, 58, of Rocky Hill, with apparent gunshot wounds to his abdomen and legs.

Marr was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he was in surgery and listed in critical condition as of Saturday evening, according to KSP.

Detective Aaron Hampton is leading the investigation.

KSP said a suspect is being questioned and is not considered a threat to the community.

The investigation remains ongoing.
