GLASGOW, Ky. — The Barren River Area Animal Welfare Association will mark 30 years of protecting and caring for animals with its 16th annual Shake Your Paw Ball this weekend.

The “elegant evening” begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Cave Area Conference Center with a cocktail hour. The event will include dinner, drinks, live music by The Unpredictables, dancing and a silent auction.

The anniversary celebration recognizes three decades of BRAWA’s work providing shelter, medical care and second chances to homeless animals throughout the community.

Since its founding in 1996, the organization has served more than 50,000 animals.

The Shake Your Paw Ball is BRAWA’s largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds supporting the organization’s continued animal welfare efforts.

Tickets are $60 and include dinner and two drinks. Purchase here.
