GLASGOW, Ky. — An immersive theater experience centered on some of America’s most notorious serial killers is coming to the Plaza Theatre on July 17 and 18.

“Serial Killer Speakeasy,” a 90-minute touring production by Midnight Creative, combines live theatrical performances with a themed cocktail tasting as actors recount the stories of four infamous killers: Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein.

According to event organizers, each segment of the performance is paired with a signature cocktail inspired by the featured case. Guests also may request nonalcoholic mocktails.

The experience is intended for audiences interested in true crime and is designed to resemble the storytelling style of popular true-crime podcasts while incorporating immersive theater.

The production is for adults ages 21 and older. A valid photo ID is required for admission.

Midnight Creative said the company also produces the touring Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, an immersive theatrical cocktail experience inspired by the works of the American author.

Performances are scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., and Saturday at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tickets are available through the event organizer.
