GLASGOW, Ky. — These are the unofficial results from this year’s Barren County primary election.

No Democratic primary was held for local races, with only state and federal offices appearing on the Democratic ballot.

The Glasgow City Council race was the only citywide contest. The top 18 vote-getters are advancing to the November general election, where nine candidates will be elected to serve through 2028.

Several offices remain uncontested, including coroner, county clerk, county attorney and property valuation administrator.

Two candidates withdrew after filing to appear on the ballot, including Charley Bunch, a Republican candidate for District 3 magistrate, and Curtis Ray Thomas, who had filed for Glasgow City Council.
