GLASGOW, Ky. — One person was seriously injured and a juvenile passenger sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in Barren County.

According to the Barren County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded June 4 to a reported injury collision at the intersection of New Bowling Green Road and Bon Ayr Road.

A preliminary investigation determined that a 2017 GMC Sierra driven by Brighton Warren was traveling from Bon Ayr Road when it entered the intersection and pulled into the path of a 2008 Chevrolet HHR operated by Roxann Mayhugh.

Mayhugh was injured in the crash and was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment, authorities said.

A juvenile passenger riding in Mayhugh's vehicle was treated for minor injuries at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

The collision remains under investigation by the Barren County Sheriff's Office.
