GLASGOW, Ky. — Glasgow is set to get another Dollar General store.

The new store is planned for 502 and 504 Columbia Avenue, according to documents filed with the Joint City-County Planning Commission.

The commission approved the preliminary and final development plans during its Aug. 17 meeting.

The new location would add another Dollar General store in Glasgow. One of the company’s existing stores is located at 2069 Edmonton Road is about 1.6 miles from the proposed Columbia Avenue location.

Construction and opening dates for the new store have not been announced.
