Barren County announces August dates for remaining town hall meetings
Public invited to continue discussions with county leaders in Park City and Hiseville
GLASGOW, Ky. — Barren County has announced the remaining dates and locations for its series of community town hall meetings regarding countywide zoning regulations, completing the schedule that began this month.
The meetings are intended to give residents an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and speak directly with county leaders.
The remaining meetings are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, July 21: 5-7 p.m. at the Austin Tracy Elementary School gymnasium.
- Monday, Aug. 10: 5-7 p.m. at Park City Elementary School.
- Thursday, Aug. 13: 5-7 p.m. at Hiseville Elementary School.

The July 21 meeting was previously announced. County officials had said additional meetings would be held in August but were awaiting confirmation of school availability before finalizing the schedule.
The town hall series follows recent public discussion about planning, zoning and future development in Barren County, though county officials have said residents are welcome to raise any topic during the meetings.
“Everyone is welcome, and all viewpoints will be heard,” officials said in announcing the meetings.
Residents are asked to sign in upon arrival and will have up to two minutes each to speak.
