GLASGOW, Ky. — A section of East Main Street in Glasgow is expected to close for about 45 days beginning Oct. 5 as crews replace a culvert.

The closure will affect KY 90 between Franklin Street and Morgan Street.

During the closure, motorists will be directed along a signed detour using U.S. 68X, KY 1519 and the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Expressway.

The work is necessary to remove and replace a culvert along the affected section of KY 90, according to the Glasgow Police Department.

Motorists should plan for extra travel time and use caution near the work zone.
