GLASGOW, Ky. — The City of Glasgow’s annual fall leaf collection service will begin Monday, Nov. 2, offering residents a free way to dispose of leaves during the fall season.

City work crews will use vacuum equipment to collect leaves that residents have raked to the curb, according to the city's website.

The collection is scheduled to continue through Dec. 25, although the city noted that the schedule could extend into the final week of December because of the holiday.

Glasgow has been divided into four collection zones, with each zone assigned a two-week pickup period. Residents can consult the city’s leaf collection map and street listing to determine when crews are scheduled to service their area.

The city encourages residents with questions about the service to call 270-651-5977.

The annual collection is provided at no cost to Glasgow residents.
