Lane closure planned this weekend on North Race Street in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. — A section of North Race Street will be reduced to a single lane this week as crews complete repairs on the Arts and Antiques Building, according to a temporary traffic notice.
The southbound lane of North Race Street will be closed Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day while work is underway.
Officials said the closure is necessary to allow for the use of a lift during repair work at the building.
If the project is not completed Saturday, the closure will continue on Sunday, May 17, according to the city of Glasgow.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes during the affected hours.
