GLASGOW, Ky. — Los Mariachis was one of fallen Trooper Hayden Phillips’ favorite places to eat. Now, the restaurant is giving back to his family.

The Mexican restaurant announced on social media Tuesday that it will donate all sales proceeds from Oct. 13 to Phillips’ family.

The community is invited to stop by, enjoy a meal and support the family.

Phillips was killed in the line of duty Sept. 28 during a traffic stop along Interstate 65 near Smiths Grove.

He was laid to rest Oct. 4 at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery following a funeral service in Bowling Green. Hundreds of law enforcement officers and agencies from across the country attended the service and procession.

Los Mariachis is located at 1005 W. Main St. in Glasgow.
