GLASGOW, Ky. — A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an alleged firearm threat reported Monday on Willie Groce Road, according to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.

Ryan Redford was arrested Aug. 18 at his Glasgow home and charged in connection with the Aug. 17 incident in the 2200 block of Willie Groce Road.

Redford was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, menacing, criminal trespassing and fourth-degree assault.

Deputies initially responded Monday to the area after receiving a report of a possible burglary in progress.

According to the sheriff’s office, a woman told deputies that Redford had stopped at her residence and was asked to leave the property. She reported that he became angry, produced a firearm and threatened her.

The woman told deputies the last time she saw him, he was in her backyard.

Deputies searched the home and surrounding area but were unable to locate him at the time. The sheriff’s office said Redford and the woman knew each other as “acquaintances” and investigators believed the incident was isolated.

As of publication, a mugshot and information about Redford’s bond were not available.
