A local couple hopes to help men rebuild their lives through a program focused on recovery, purpose and long-term healing.
The celebration also traced a century-long evolution of a library that began with just eight readers sharing books.
The promotion continues Pedigo’s basketball journey, which began at Barren County High School before a successful collegiate career at Campbellsville University.
Once completed, the journals will be added to the library’s local authors section, located near its Kentucky collection downstairs.
The production features several local performers, including Barren County residents Emily Stephens as Annelle, Julie Adkins as Clairee and Sandy Roberts Dunn as M’Lynn.
Dile was initially treated at T.J. Regional Health before being transferred to the burn center at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for specialized care.
Donations may be dropped off at the club’s facility at 701 Columbia Ave.
Admission is free, and organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the afternoon activities.
Vandermolen is a pre-med student majoring in chemistry and Chinese.
