GLASGOW, Ky. — Step two of a three-step process toward a potential new movie theater in Glasgow was completed Wednesday, according to businessman Larry Glass.

The day began with a tour of the existing Marquee Cinemas, followed by what was described as a “productive discussion” at Starbucks where participants outlined how the opportunity could work for all parties involved.

During the process, Glass met with the ownership team of Crowne Pointe Theatre in Elizabethtown for the first time. The group spent approximately two hours discussing the potential for an upgraded theater in Glasgow.

The goal is to reach final decisions by late May, with efforts ongoing to move the project forward, according to a social media post from Glass.

Participants in the meeting included Mike Strgler, Tao Le and his wife, Tao, along with Crowne Pointe Theatre manager Rick Roman.
