GLASGOW, Ky. — The Glasgow Rotary Club has opened applications for its annual non-profit donation program, offering funding to organizations serving Barren County.

Applications opened Monday and will remain available through June 15.

The program provides donations of up to $1,500 per application to eligible non-profit organizations in good standing with the Kentucky Secretary of State.

Club President Jamie McFarlin said the funding is intended to support projects that reflect Rotary’s “Service Above Self” mission.

“We are proud to invest in initiatives that strengthen our community and create lasting positive change,” McFarlin said in a news release. “Opening this application process allows us to partner with local leaders and organizations working to make a difference.”

Applications are available through the Rotary Club of Glasgow-Barren County Facebook page and during weekly Rotary meetings held at noon Thursdays at the T.J. Health Pavilion.

According to the club, recipients will be notified by July 15, with awards to be presented during a future Rotary meeting.

The annual donation program is funded through the club’s yearly Rotary Auction, which takes place each fall. The 2026 auction is scheduled for November.

The Glasgow Rotary Club was established in 1928 and is part of Rotary International.
