GLASGOW, Ky. — A new Harbor Freight store in Glasgow is expected to open this fall, with interior construction and store build-out set to begin July 20 and be completed within about 60 days.

The store will occupy the former JoAnn location at Barren River Plaza, according to an announcement made in late May.

Businessman Larry Glass said the project has been years in the making and reflects continued growth in the Glasgow area.

Glass said interior construction should be completed within about 60 days, barring any unforeseen delays. After the build-out is complete, the store will undergo final preparations before opening.

“Harbor Freight will be a tremendous asset to our community, offering quality tools and equipment while creating another great reason to shop locally,” he said.
