FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky students are invited to showcase their creativity in a statewide contest that could put their artwork in the hands of voters this fall.
Secretary of State Michael Adams on Friday announced the third annual “I Voted” sticker contest, which is open to all students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Students are encouraged to design an original “I Voted” sticker, with the winning entry set to be distributed to voters in participating counties during the 2026 general election.
“Will the face of Kentucky voters be a big green monster? You decide,” Adams said in a statement. “Our youngest Kentuckians are ready to step up with their creative ideas to make November’s election a success.”
To enter, students must submit an original design that includes the words “I Voted.” Submissions must be uploaded in JPEG or PNG format and include the student’s name, school, address and phone number.
Entries are due by 5 p.m. EST on May 29. Submit here.
Finalists will be selected by the Secretary of State’s Office and placed on a ballot during the 2026 Kentucky State Fair, where fairgoers will vote on their favorite design. The winning sticker will then be printed and distributed to county clerks for use in the general election.
The contest is part of an effort to engage young Kentuckians in the civic process and encourage participation in elections.
