Outage leaves hundreds without power in Glasgow
Restoration efforts were expected to be fairly quick, according to the EPB.
GLASGOW, Ky. — About 700 homes were without power Saturday evening, according to the Glasgow Electric Plant Board.
Affected areas included western Cleveland Avenue, Forrester Road, Quail Ridge and the Glen Garry Road area.
Crews were dispatched to respond to the outage just before 7 p.m.
EPB spokesperson Aaron Russell said a tree fell and caused issues with a large breaker feeding that area of town.
Power was restored by 7:15 p.m. Those with complications were urged to call the EPB at 270-651-8341.
