Officers responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and West Main Street.
The stolen vehicle was later located along Capitol Hill Road in Fountain Run by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police.
Both are charged with first-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12 and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Preliminary traffic data shows volumes at the intersection may no longer meet federal guidelines for a signal, prompting the review, according to the transportation cabinet.
Dr. Steve Webb, owner of the Animal Clinic on West Main Street in Glasgow, said parvo remains a serious but largely preventable disease.
Police said the vehicle was reported stolen out of Warren County.
A groundbreaking ceremony is expected to take place within the next few weeks, likely the week of May 10. The Haywood station is expected to be operational by November.
Officer Mathew Rishkofski investigated the crash.
Authorities said multiple law enforcement and emergency agencies from Adair County and surrounding areas assisted in the response.
