A person was airlifted to Louisville after the crash, police said.

GLASGOW, Ky. — A single-vehicle collision on the Cumberland Parkway Friday afternoon sent one person to a Louisville hospital.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at about 4:15 p.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, Kori Wade was driving a 2006 Acura TL westbound on the Cumberland Parkway when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned several times.

Wade was injured in the crash and was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital for further medical treatment.

South Barren Fire Department, Park City Fire Department, Barren-Metcalfe EMS and Kentucky 8, the medical helicopter, assisted at the scene.
