Barr has emphasized lowering costs through increased domestic energy production, tax cuts and policies aligned with President Donald Trump.

Booker has focused on affordability, health care access and challenging federal policies he argues are driving up costs for working families.

The candidates also clashed during an October debate over health care, gun policy, artificial intelligence and data centers, and the U.S. involvement in the conflict with Iran.
